Rifle Casing Pens

Sometimes at military funerals, a ceremony of three rifle volleys is conducted over the grave of the veteran.  The spent shells or casings (typically of .30-06 caliber) can be turned into a very special keepsake.

The wooden upper part is turned from wild olive wood with exceptional figure.  These ballpoint pens twist to deploy a smooth writing cartridge in your choice of color, and will come in a wood box suitable for gifting.

If your deceased loved one served in World War II or the Laotian, Dominican, or Cambodian Civil Wars, I am only taking custom orders for the veterans of these conflicts at this time.

These are also available for current Philosophy of Pen owners whose loved one served in a conflict beside those above.

If your loved one falls into neither category above but you still desire a casing pen, please visit the International Association of Penturners. Here you'll find many skilled artisans available to make your commemorative piece.
